Students who are in the MFA or PhD programs can benefit from a number of job placement services offered by the department. Each year, AGES sponsors a series of workshops designed to help students compile their dossiers and prepare for job interviews. In September, the Graduate Director provides all graduate students with an access code that enables them to consult the Modern Language Association Job Information List.
Once students are ready to apply to jobs, the department will send out dossiers for them. Students should give their dossiers and a list of department addresses to the Administrative Assistant in early October so that she can mail them out.
