Incompletes
An Incomplete grade is given to a student when illness, family emergency, or other reasons beyond the control of the student prevent him/her from completing course requirements for a specific semester. In order to qualify for an Incomplete grade, the student must have a passing grade in the course and have completed the majority of course work. Incomplete grades given at the 5000 and 6000 level will convert to an X if they are not removed within one calendar year. The Graduate Catalog also stipulates that “students who receive an incomplete grade in a course must not reregister for the course in order to remove the ‘I.’
