Bob Hinkel, Ph.D. and Associate Professor, is largely interested in the connection between literature and mythology. He also teaches a course called "The English Bible as Literature." Areas of concentration include early twentieth century literature, American literature, and film interpretation. He has lectured in Berlin for several semesters and has published several pieces, both in English and German. He currently chairs the Section of Germanic Languages and Literatures at the Michigan Academy of Science, Arts, & Letters and is preparing a new course called "Germanic Mythology, Richard Wagner, and Adolf Hitler." |
