Dr. Brian Gogan is an assistant professor in rhetoric and writing studies in the Department of English at Western Michigan University.
His work has appeared in College Composition and Communication, Rhetoric Review, Across the Disciplines, and the International Journal of Baudrillard Studies, as well as the collections Who Speaks for Writing: Stewardship for Writing Studies in the 21st Century, Re/Framing Identifications, and Microhistories of Composition.
He has taught courses in college composition, business writing, technical writing, academic literacy and public sphere literacy. His teaching has been recognized with four teaching awards, including the 2014 Timothy Ryan Hurttgam Memorial Faculty Award and a 2015 College of Arts and Sciences Faculty Achievement Award.
