Understanding Selective Release by Gradebook Value

Set Release Criteria by Grade Book Value

Use this option to set release on items in your course based on values in the grade book.

From the Selective Release Link under Designer/Instructor Tools
	From the Teach or Bulid tab, click on the Selective Release link.
This displays a content map of your course. Click on the object you want to set criteria for.
	Click the Select Release button for the object you want to restrict access to.
OR
	Go to the tool object you want to set release for, such as an assignment or assessment and click the action link next to the item. This displays a list of options including Set Release.

	At the next screen click on the Add Grade Book Criteria button Select the grade book column to base the selection on and under what values the item is to be released.
click the save button to return to the previous screen
Ciick the SAVE button again (many people forget to do this and no criteria is set!). To delete the release criteria or to edit the critera, click the action link.
