Info From Your Section Link

Did you know your section link and description contains some useful information that you might need to know. Links contain the following information:

Line 1:

Year and term, course name, and section info
(10=Spring, 20=Summer I, 30=Summer II, and 40=Fall)

Line 2:

CRN (circled in blue) and the section begin and end dates

Line 3:

Instructor(s)

Line 4:

Term begin and end dates

Early Release Links/Extended Release Links

If you have requested a section link to be released early or to be available beyond the end of term, the term information will not show. The dates for section availability will show the adjusted date(s).

Combined Sections

If you have requested sections be combined, the CRN displayed will begin with XLS (for cross-list). If you have also requested an early release of the link, the term info won't be displayed.

When sections are combined, your students see a link that reflexs the section they are enrolled in. Instructors/designers will see a link that corresponds to the one of the sections combined.
