Team meetings are held several times each semester to explore areas of interest identified by the partnership. Nearly 90 educators attend these meetings to solve problems, plan new initiatives, and study issues related to beginning teachers.
Although not every teacher in a Cluster Site becomes a mentor, all teachers at the site are identified as members of the SUPT, helping student interns to perform to their highest capabilities. Teachers in the schools, WMU faculty and staff and students in both settings come together as a community of learners to discover and share meaningful teaching and learning to assure continuous improvement.
