Areas of Interest:
Foreign Direct Investment; Multinational Enterprises; International Trade

Current Research: My research focuses on firm-level determinants of foreign direct investment (FDI). I am specifically interested in (i) the sequential nature of FDI – that is, what determines a firm’s decision to become a multinational enterprise, and then what influences their decision to increase the number of foreign affiliates; (ii) sequential FDI and location choice; (iii) affiliate ownership structure choices.
