Business Externship Program

Apply for a one- to three-day experience to shadow a professional mentor (often an alumnus or alumna). By exploring a business career and work environment, students get a deeper look into their major and begin networking. Students attend a Professional Development Workshop before and after the externship experience. Learn more about the externship timeline and application.

Career advising

Drop in or call (269) 387-2711 to schedule an appointment to see an advisor about choosing a major, conducting an internship or job search, creating or updating your resume or cover letter, preparing for an interview, or to discuss how to accept or decline a job offer. Drop-in hours are posted on the Zhang Career Center website each semester.

BroncoJobs (internship postings, employers, on-campus interviewing)

BroncoJobs provides online access to internship and professional job openings, resume books, calendar of career programs, on-campus interviews and employer contact information. Log in through GoWMU to activate an account. Then, students and recent alumni may upload and publish a resume for employers to review, apply for positions, RSVP for career programs and sign up for on-campus interviews.

On-campus interviewing

Employers schedule recruiting visits primarily in September through November and January through April. You may be invited to interview with an employer during a career event or you may sign up to interview through BroncoJobs. Keep your major, GPA, expected graduation date and resume updated on BroncoJobs to receive email alerts about job and interview opportunities.
