The purpose of this award is to honor financially contracted community partners who have outstanding commitments to WMU’s Department of Psychology students in the form of length of time or amount of funding. The Center for Disability Services and Senior Day Services provide psychology students opportunities to work with individuals as part of the Aging Practicum under Dr. Jonathan Baker. Students assist with functional behavior assessments, treatment planning and implementation and monitoring of client progress within the day program. Students also have the opportunity to engage in research projects.
