Using your Meal Plan
at Parkview Café
If you are on a Dining Service meal plan and have classes at the College of Engineering, there is no need to go back to main campus to eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The Parkview Café offers a meal equivalency, which means a cash value is available for you to use in exchange for a meal normally eaten in a residence hall dining room. The cash value is based on the meal period.

How it works:
- Make your choices in the Parkview Café and go to the cash register with Bronco Card in hand. The cashier will total your bill.
- Let the cashier know that you would like to use your meal plan equivalency; the cashier will scan your Bronco Card. If your bill is greater than the cash value of the meal, you may use cash or Dining Dollars to pay the difference.
- A cash refund is not given if your bill is less than the cash value.
- You may only use a meal equivalency once per meal period per day.
- Students on a Gold Plan may use either one meal equivalency at Parkview or access the dining rooms on main campus at any given meal period on a particular day. Therefore, meal equivalency is not allowed on the Gold Plan if the student
has already accessed the main campus dining hall(s) during a given meal period on a particular meal. Likewise, if the student has used their meal equivalency at Parkview Café at a given meal period, access to the dining hall on main campus is not allowed until the next meal period.
