Dining Services is pleased to present the special dining events schedule for the 2014-15 academic year. Western Michigan University students, employees and guests are invited to attend these events.

A Taste of Italy in the WMU Residence Hall Dining Rooms

Served during dinner Thursday, Feb. 26 from 4 to 7 p.m. 

Western Michigan University Dining Services celebrates a taste of Italy with a special event dinner borrowing popular flavors from the continent of Europe. Students, university employees and guests are invited to the residence hall dining rooms on Thursday, Feb. 26 from 4 to 8 p.m. to share in a host of dishes that reflects a mixture of unique ingredients from the southern peninsula region. Appetizer options include: Antipasta Platter, Bread and Oil Dipping Station, Caprese Salad, and Flatbread Pizza. There are a variety of hearty entreés to choose from, including: Braciole di Manzo al Vino Rosso (slow-cooked beef bundles in red wine glaze), Pollo Brasato ai Funghi Porcini (chicken and porcini mushrooms), Code di Scampi con Asparagi (scampi and asparagus in lemon-tarragon sauce), and Grilled Vegetable Ravioli Pasta with a light red sauce. Desserts served are Cannoli and Tiramisu.
