Serving up visuals and a performance style reminiscent of Cirque Du Soleil, "Garuda" packed a powerful punch during our Student Technology Showcase.

The piece featured a performer, Zach Martens, suspended by aerial silks, performing the death and birth of a phoenix. Behind him, a computer-generated forest bursts into life, spawning flaming, 20' wide phoenix wings.

Not surprisingly, audiences were awed at the intensity and quality of this student work.
