Behavioral Health Services at
Unified Clinics

Behavioral Health Services, formerly University Substance Abuse Clinic (USAC), at Western Michigan University is a licensed and accredited outpatient substance use and behavioral health disorder treatment provider in Michigan.

Center for Academic Success Programs CASP includes: Exploratory Advising, Alpha Program, TRIO, Writing Center, Academic Resource Center, Intellectual Skills Development, Office of Military and Veterans Affairs and Office of Transfer Student Services.
Counseling Services

Counseling Services at Sindecuse health Center help students effectively deal with personal concerns that inhibit emotional well being, academic performance, and success.

Disability Services for Students Services include: priority registration, referral and advocacy activities with University departments, campus accessibility, adaptive computer equipment, acting as a liaison for special classroom concerns.

Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)

FERPA permits students to inspect and review their educational records and the opportunity for discussion or a hearing if a student challenges any materials in such records. In order to view your conduct file, you need to contact the Office of Student Conduct, complete a file review request form, and schedule an appointment to meet with a representative from the Office of Student Conduct to review your file with you.

FERPA also provides that Western Michigan University will maintain the confidentiality of your student record and not share your record with anyone other than University officials unless your written request for release is obtained.
