Professional Women Communicators, Inc. Provides Networking Opportunities, Professional Mentoring

Professional Women Communicators Southwest Michigan Network is dedicated to enhancing the careers of professional women communicators through mutual support, encouragement and educational opportunities. Formerly known as Women in Communications, Inc., PWC has been bringing women from every aspect of the communications field together since the early 1980s. From writers, editors and publishers, to marketers, public relations and advertising experts, to event planners and web-site designers, PWC members cover all corners of our industry. Together in a warm, inclusive atmosphere members share knowledge with one another and the community, encourage others on their path to success, and offer opportunities to network with some of the community's most skilled professionals.

Membership in PWC includes monthly membership meetings geared toward professional development, a membership directory that puts access to the area's best communications professionals at your fingertips, and the opportunity to network with 50+ members in the communication business. Members assist with connections to local employers seeking communications professionals, career coaching, and business start-up advice. They offer opportunities to learn from others with expertise in their fields, share knowledge with students, and commit to the future through a scholarship sponsorship. Professional members must be employed in a communication-related business or actively pursuing employment in the same field. Student members must be working toward a degree in a communications-related field.
For additional information on PWC, please contact Nichole Cekola, president, at 383-0515 or email ncekola@hotmail.com.
