WORKSHOPS FOR GRADUATE STUDENTSThe Graduate College offers several workshops and meetings throughout the year to facilitate the various tasks graduate students must perform. This semester the following workshops are available. Formatting Workshops Learn how to interpret the University's formatting requirements for doctoral dissertations, specialist projects, and master's theses. Helpful information on paperwork requirements, fees, microfilming, and copyrighting is also provided. WORKSHOP DATES-Fall 2002 Thursday, September 26 10:00-11:30am Emeriti lounge, 211 W Walwood Please register for the workshop at least 24 hours in advance by calling The Graduate College at (616)387-8206 or emailing abigail.letcher@wmich.edu. Space in each workshop is limited to 10 participants so advanced registration is required. Participants in the formatting workshop must bring their own copy of "Guidelines for the Preparation of Theses, Projects, and Dissertations" available online at the Graduate College website. Please be sure to download the supplement to the guidelines, also available on the website.
Students are now able to submit their theses and dissertations to The Graduate College on-line in pdf format using a secure web server.
