Graduate Program: Application process

There are two steps to applying to the graduate program:

Step 1: You complete the department's application process. Check to see if you are familiar with the admission requirements. Fill out the Graduate Student Information Form.

Step 2: You must complete the university's application process. You can apply online for admission. When asked to indicate the degree you are seeking, use the scrollbox and choose "Communication (MA)".

You may also request an application packet from the Graduate Programs and Admissions website.

In addition to the application form, you will need to submit:

• undergraduate transcripts
• graduate transcripts where applicable
• three letters of recommendation (WMU Graduate Reference Forms), and
• evidence of academic interest and ability.
