School of Communication represented at Relay for Life

Students organized early in the spring 2009 semester to create a team to represent the School of Communication at Western Michigan University's annual Relay for Life event. The Relay for Life is coordinated by the American Cancer Society to raise awareness about cancer prevention and treatment.

The team will join 57 other teams to camp out overnight at Kanley Track and members will be taking turns walking or running around the track throughout the 24 hr. event.

The 'WMU School of Communication' team has almost reached their goal of raising $2,000.00 this year. Please visit the team webpage to monitor the progress of the team and encourage our students' efforts.
