About me:

I've been employed full-time as the Video Production Lead for WMU Media Productions since 1991. As a producer/director/videographer/editor, my work has included productions of educational, recruitment, promotional, documentary, dance and sports programming. I enjoy working with diverse clients and topics. For the past five years, I've produced a weekly WMU coaches' show for distribution locally and regionally through ComCast. I've also worked as a free-lance videographer & editor for corporations, networks and private clients with programming ranging from financial services to professional boxing to weddings!

My work has received recognition by national and international competitions and festivals, including the Telly Awards, Aurora Awards, CINDY competition, the Association of Visual Communication, the New York Festivals, Philo Awards and the Athens International animation festival. I am a past recipient of the Communicator of the Year for visual communication by the west Michigan chapter of Women in Communication, Inc.

I've enjoyed teaching Basic and Advanced Studio Production at WMU since 1993 as an adjunct professor, and assisting theatre students in the course Acting for the Camera.
