Admission to 3 of our majors is competitive, based on overall grade point average, grades in Communication classes and a personal essay.

To be considered, you must have completed the required pre-requisite courses with a letter grade of "C" or better, have an overall GPA of at least 2.50 and have completed at least 30 hours at Western (for transfer students, at least 15 hours at Western).

Application dates are January 15, May 15 and September 15 annually.
