Congratulations to Paul Vellom co-author of a project titled: Integrated Apprenticeship in the Teaching of Elementary Science (IATES). The National Science Foundation's CCLI program has awarded $200,000 to the proof-of-concept grant for the three-year project.
Four WMU Professors of Education presented papers at the International Conference on Lifelong Education in Kalamazoo’s “Sister City,” Pushkin, Russia.
Dr. Tetanya Koshmanova presented the following papers:
- "From Personal Experiences of Transformative Learning toward Educational Change" at the Third Vittachi International Conference on Education conducted on 1-5 July 2006 by Al
Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco and sponsored by the Guerrand-Hermès Foundation for Peace.
- "New Features for Teacher Learning in Global Digital Age" at the First International Conference New Informational Technologies in Education for All (Kyiv, Ukraine, May 29-31, 2006).
