"Animal Tongue Twister Poem "

Something happened at the zoo today!
The animals got free and ran away?
A dog digs at the donut store during dinner.
A bee bakes banana bread at the baseball
field between batters.
A monkey makes macaroni and cheese at
Monkey Palace by mixing the mac.
A horse hobbles at the house feeling happy.
A cat cuddles in a car because he was cold.
I never heard of such commotion!
I hope the zookeeper has a magic potion
To get all the animals where they belong
Without anymore mishaps or things going wrong!

-Written by Jessica Zolp

Dear Grandma,

How are you doing today? I would like to tell you about pioneer life. If you were a pioneer you would live off the land. You would make cabins made out of wood and have cabin raisings. You would make your clothes out of wool and animal skins.

You would have a wood cook stove and no electricity in your cabin. Also you could have a fireplace or a wood-heating stove to keep you warm. Your manly husband would bravely hunt and fish so you could have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You had to plant gardens in the summer so you could have vegetables and fruit so you could be strong as an ox and healthy as a horse. That's how you could be a pioneer many years ago.

Your Loving Grandson,
Alex

"THE LEGO LAND KINGDOM"

By: Clifford Pulley Once there was a Lego King. His name was King George III. He was mean to all the people and taxed them to get money for the war. The people did not like the king. They especially did not like his red coats on their streets. Peple started to dump tea because they did not like King George III taxing them. The king started taxing them on their windows. The king told his red coats to go to all the people's houses and bust their windows down. The people became an army. They called themselves minute men and they won the war.

"Rudy Tootie"

By Sara Campbell

Rudy is my doggie. Rudy is two years old.
He is black and brown.
He likes to chase his tail and eat out of the garbage.
Rudy also likes to run around the yard and chase squirrels.
Rudy is odd because he eats from the garbage and does not chase cats.
His real name is Rudolf because we got him during Christmas.

The End.
