Why did you choose WMU?
I heard it was a great teaching
school.
Also, both of my brothers attended and it wasn't too far from
home.
Current position and duties:
Health Teacher at Golden Valley
High
School in Bakersfield, CA. I also coach cheerleading.
Experience that was most helpful in preparing you for your
career:
Student teaching and all of the rigorous coursework
definitely
helped to prepare me. Also, I was involved in Eta Sigma Gamma which
gave
me the opportunity to meet new people and get involved in health
related
activities.
Favorite faculty/staff member?
Dr. Frauenknecht. I owe all of
my
teaching success to her!
My greatest accomplishment in life so far:
Achieving my goal
of
teaching high school health and discovering that this is what I
was
meant to do.
