The Internship Experience
The Community Health Education internship is designed to be a capstone experience that provides students with an opportunity to utilize their skills and knowledge working in a health education setting. This experience should provide the student with the opportunity to observe, participate with and learn from health professionals working in community-based settings.
Community Health Education majors are required to complete a 400- to 600-hour internship. Prior to beginning the internship, students are required to have completed all course work directly associated with their health education degree.
