The M. A. in Coaching Sport Performance is designed to provide 36 graduate credit hours of classroom and field experiences enabling the student to develop a sound professional philosophy. This program will also allow the student to increase professional competencies pertinent to career goals in the coaching and athletic profession. Courses follow the National Standards for Coaching Education and NCACE Accreditation Guidelines. Graduates of the program find positions as coaches, teachers/educators in sport and recreation areas, and as frontline management that has direct contact with players and coaches.
