If you wish to pursue a master's degree and career in counseling, marriage and family therapy, or social work, either a family studies or family life education program is excellent preparation. Family studies faculty members enjoy developing mentoring relationships with students who are interested in graduate school education. We are willing to provide students with an opportunity to develop "hands-on" research skills and encourage and support independent undergraduate research.
