Educational Leadership

Western Michigan University offers a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree, a Specialist Degree, and a Ph.D. all in Educational Leadership. Each of these graduate programs is designed for working professionals, with an eye toward developing leaders ready to serve within the accountability era facing educational institutions today. Evaluation, Measurement & Research

The Educational Leadership, Research & Technology Department at Western Michigan University offers both master and doctorate programs in Evaluation, Measurement, and Research Design (EMR). The nationally and internationally recognized evaluation faculty regularly advise and teach in the program. The master's program is designed to prepare graduates for staff positions in evaluation, testing, or research units in schools or non-school organizations. The Ph.D. Program is designed to prepare evaluators, assessment specialists, and researchers for leadership and teaching positions in schools, non-school organizations, institutions of higher education, and government.

Educational Technology

The Master of Arts in Educational Technology and the Graduate Certificate Program in Educational Technology are designed to prepare educators for the integration of educational technology into academic programs of kindergarten through 12th grade schools. These programs prepare educators for various school-based technology roles including technology coordinators, technology instructional consultants/teachers, and special education technology consultants/teachers.
