This master's degree prepares leaders for educational organizations, including K-12 schools, higher education, governmental agencies and professional associations. This comprehensive program supports active instruction by merging cutting-edge theory with best practices. Four core concentrations exist:

- Graduation Information - Submit the "graduate audit application" at least six months in advance of a planned graduation date.
WMU’s K-12 educational leadership master’s degree program meets NCATE accreditation standards and the guidelines of the Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium (ISLLC), and is a Michigan State Board of Education Approved Principal Preparation Program. The HESA concentration meets CAS standards for higher education.
