Postdoctoral Fellowship in Juvenile Forensic Psychology - This postdoctoral fellowship is at the Child Study and Treatment Center (on the grounds of Western State Hospital in Tacoma, WA).  Half of my time is spent conducting forensic evaluations and the other half of my time is spent providing therapy to adolescents in an inpatient treatment facility.  Juvenile forensic work includes evaluations of competency to stand trial, mental state at the time of the offense and violence risk, as well as competency restoration.  Adolescent inpatient treatment includes therapy based on a Dialectical Behavior Therapy model, individual therapy, group therapy and family therapy.
