Advising
Coursework
in the field of education transcends the schedule of education
classes offered and encompasses coursework in nearly all other
colleges in the University, which makes teacher preparation in
a wide variety of subject areas possible.
However, it also causes
advising procedures to be more complex for education students.
Students in
Special Education should attend one group advising session prior
to scheduling an appointment. Contact the Department of Special Education and Literacy Studies, 387-5935, 3506 Sangren Hall, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.
to 5 p.m., to arrange for advising.
Students should meet with their advisors in all areas as early
as possible for strategic planning of coursework.
