Western Michigan University hosted the 4th Barrier Coating Symposium on October 9 and 10, 2006. This biennial event attracted over 100 professionals working in the area of barrier coatings.

Packaging Materials and
Coatings Center (BPMACC)
An organizational meeting of the WMU/MSU Center for
Barrier Coatings took place on October 11th. The Center is a joint venture
between Western Michigan University, Department of Paper Engineering,
Chemical Engineering, and Imaging, and Michigan State University, School
of Packaging.
