PUBLICATIONS

The following publications were produced by CISRS.

Agency Resource Directory
In 1984, CISRS helped Gryphon Place convert its information and referral database from 5 by 7 cards to a computerized program, which came to be known as the Agency Resource Directory or ARD. The data within the ARD was updated constantly, with every agency contacted at least once a year. In 1985, and about every 3 years through 1999, CISRS produced a printed version of the ARD.

The ARD provides information on over 400 health and human service programs in the Kalamazoo area listed alphabetically, as well as by major service areas and by client focus. The database was transferred fully in 2001 to Gryphon Place. For assistance call 211 or 381-HELP. The Kalamazoo Public Library also has a human services directory available online and on CD.
