Kevin R. MacRitchie Cisco Systems, Inc.
Currently Mr. MacRitchie is responsible for the Executive Management and Leadership of all engagements with NetHope, it's members and partners, along with their relationship with USAID and the State Department. In this role Mr. MacRitchie is leading the efforts to engage Cisco's Humanitarian efforts around the globe with NetHope and the largest NGO's around the globe in order to leverage Internet Communications Technologies (ICT) to better the health, education, safety, and basic human needs of those in need around the globe. Mr. MacRitchie is also responsible for the coordination of Cisco's disaster relief efforts, both Natural and Socio-Economic, globally with NetHope and its' members. As a part of this area of focus, Kevin is leading both the development and empowerment of a Humanitarian Services Cloud in order to best enable NGO's to work more efficiently together as well as the reconstituted Connectivity and Infrastructure Team focusing on rural connectivity and member access and infrastructures.
Mr. MacRitchie is also responsible for leading Cisco's Connected Justice Programs, opening a new $1B market opportunity for Cisco and its' partners around the globe focused on efficiencies and productivity from the time of arrest to the time ones civil liberties are restored. This is Mr. MacRitchie's eighth successful market creation role.
Mr. MacRitchie formerly was a part of a "Giving Back" program in which Cisco Systems loans key Executives to Not-for-Profit Organizations, and State/Local Government Agencies, in order to provide business and technology expertise on strategic initiatives. Focused on County School Systems developing an educational advantage through technology, this initiative quickly became a state-wide initiative including multiple School Districts, County Governments, First Responders, and a TeleJustice Systems, all focused on saving taxpayers millions of dollars while improving efficiency and effectiveness. This effort grew quickly to become a model for collaboration, planning, and implementation nationally.
As a Director of Federal Operations he led the US Federal System Engineering Team to achieve its highest customer satisfaction results, which led to his role responsible for Cisco's Global Y2K Readiness Program. Promoted to Vice President of WW Channels Technical Operations in August 2004, MacRitchie's innovative strategies enabled the success of Cisco's Partner Community through focus on Partner Development, Brand Protection, and Customer/Partner Satisfaction and Loyalty. Following his success in Channels, Kevin led the Global Defense, Space, and Homeland Security arm of Cisco's Global Government Solutions Group as Vice President and CTO focused on long term business partnerships. In that role, Kevin expanded GGSG's reach far beyond the US and Canadian borders, creating opportunities in the fastest growing markets in the Global Public Sector and creating a $40B futures business for Cisco.
MacRitchie holds one of the industry's first Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE) Certifications and a Bachelor of Business degree in Information Systems & Operations Management.
Kevin, and his wife Kimba, live on their horse and buffalo ranch in Holly, Michigan where they both also serve as County Mounted Law Enforcement.
