Environmental Institute
The Environmental Institute is an umbrella organization that
joins the Environmental Research Center with the Environmental
Studies Program.
Nanotechnology Center
The establishment of the Nanotechnology Research and Computation
Center, positions WMU as a key player, nationally and internationally,
in a field of study that is driving scientific breakthroughs
in fields such as the environment, healthcare, manufacturing
and the military.
REU Program
The Research Experiences for Undergraduates program at WMU includes
participation in a faculty-mentored research project, presentation/discussion
series on the process of science, considerations of scienific
ethics and integrity and research seminars and career-oriented
discussions.
Biosphere Atmosphere Research and Training (BART)
Biosphere Atmosphere Research and Training is a multidisciplinary
doctoral training program designed to create a new generation
of scientists capable of conducting research at the interface
of biospheric and atmospheric sciences.
Business Technology and Research Park
The Business Technology and Research Park is a high-tech business
development that shares WMU's Parkview Campus with the College
of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
