Fr. Braceland wrote extensively on the subject of medieval religious history. Three of his articles appeared in the volume of the Cistercian Studies series Medieval Cistercian History . Among the papers in our collection are photostats of manuscripts from the Vatican Library and France, as well as many photocopied excerpts of books that he used for his research. Fr. Braceland published three volumes of works all of which are owned by Waldo Library at Western Michigan University. Two of his books are translations from Gilbert of Hoyland, while the third is a translated compilation of sermons.
