Sangren is home to the College of Education, including the Dorothy J. McGinnis Reading Center and Clinic, the Center for Counseling and Psychological Services, the Department of Teaching, Learning, and Leadership, the Department of Educational Studies, the Department of Counselor Education and Counseling Psychology, the Merze Tate Research Center and three student service offices.
In addition to the College of Education, the School of Art, the Blindness and Low Vision Clinic, Sociology, Criminal Justice, the Leonard C. Kercher Center for Social Research, the Visual Resources Library, and the Education Library are housed in Sangren. One of the largest and most heavily used classroom buildings on campus, Sangren is home to three computer labs and hosts a range of classes from across the University.
