iWebfolio Training Information

Welcome to the iWebfolio training website! If you would like to set up an iWebfolio owner account, send an email including your WIN to: wmu-eportfolio@wmich.edu In response, we will send you an email containing a link within it that you will use to set up your iWebfolio account. This link contains information that will pay for your iWebfolio account, which is sponsored by WMU. There is no charge for students to set up an account. Only those students who are enrolled in courses or departments who are using iWebfolio for a specific purpose are eligible to set up an account. If you are a faculty or staff member, and would like to set up an iWebfolio owner or reviewer account, send an email to: wmu-eportfolio@wmich.edu to request an account. You are not required to send your WIN.

Please notice the links on the left hand side of this page. There are links to an iWebfolio instructional documents page and an iWebfolio Tutorial Library that provide a collection of instructional documents and tutorials and that will show how to perform different functions within iWebfolio. New owner or reviewer account holders will want to focus on the tutorials and instructional documents associated with the specific type of account that was established. There is also a link for the Intern Teachers that provides valuable information about iWebfolio that is specific for this group.

Computer Requirements: The following need to be installed on the computer in order to view the iWebfolio training tutorials: One of the following operating systems:

Microsoft Windows 95 or later
Macintosh
Linux
A Flash-enabled browser (for example, Internet Explorer 5.0 or later, Netscape Navigator 4.06, or Netscape 6.0 or later
Macromedia Flash player (version 6.0 or later)

Each of the tutorials is set up as if you were following along with the steps in your own account. There are playback controls in the upper right-hand corner within each tutorial that allow the tutorial to play, pause, fast forward, stop or rewind within them. To get back to the list of tutorials, either close the window of the tutorial that is currently being viewed, or simply click on the back button within the browser.
