The Career Connections Research Center brings together faculty and students from many disciplines interested in a variety of issues regarding career development. Interests range from issues regarding students with disabilities, students representing minority populations, and students enrolling in occupational programs nontraditional for their gender.
Faculty and students in the CCRC have engaged in research through several externally funded projects using diverse research methodologies. Partners in this research include state educational agencies, national research and advocacy organizations, and others with specific expertise related to research foci.
The Career Connections Research Center is a part of the Department of Special Education and Literacy Studies in the College of Education and Human Development at Western Michigan University.
