Edward Brooks Applegate, Ph.D.

Dr. Applegate provides expertise regarding data collection and analysis. An applied statistician for more than 15 years, he has served as the lead statistician on more than 10 funded research projects in the last five years. He has expertise in all phases of research, including study design, measurement and variable selection, sampling, advanced statistical analysis (such as mixed models, generalized linear models, structural equation modeling, and multivariate analyses), and manuscript preparation. Dr. Applegate has authored or co-authored over 50 journal articles and has extensive experience working with researchers in many disciplines including special and general education, psychology, and the health sciences.
