Important: Students beginning Fall 2005 do not have to satisfy the Computer Literacy requirement.

Students prior to Fall 2005 may satisfy their computer requirement by taking the following course:

CS 1000 Fluency with Information Technology 3 credit hrs

(or credit by exam, contact Computer Science Department)

This requirement may be met by:

a) attaining an appropriate score in a proctored foreign language placement examination placing into the 200 level or above
b) documentation of completion of at least two years of any one foreign language in high school, provided that the grade for the last semester of the second year is a "B" or better, or
c) completing two semesters of college level study in any one foreign language with a passing grade (1000, 1010, or American Sign Language I and II).
