Courtney is a senior majoring in Film, Video and Media Studies with a minor in Journalism, her dream is to one day become an Entertainment News Anchor! Courtney has been involved in various organizations in her time here at WMU. She has had the opportunity to lead fellow peers on service learning trips in Kalamazoo and to Chicago. Courtney has also served two years on Drive Safe Kalamazoo's Executive Board, she will be co-instructing her second year as a First-Year Experience student instructor. Courtney is very excited to be serving as CAB's President. Being involved with CAB has opened many doors for her and she hopes that she will be able to inspire other students to get involved and love CAB as much as she does! She is looking forward to her senior year and can't wait to show WMU what CAB has to offer this year!
Jessica is a Junior this year at WMU studying Organizational Communication with a minor in Event Management. She is very blessed to have the opportunity to be on CAB's E-Board for a second year, especially as the Vice President! Jessica is looking forward to meeting and getting to know all of the new CABbies and reconnecting with the returning ones. Since joining CAB her freshman year, Jessica has found a passion for planning events and is working towards her goal of becoming a professional Corporate Event Planner. Jessica wants to encourage everyone to get involved in some way on campus (especially with CAB!) because like Napoleon Hill says, "Your big opportunity may be right where you are now." CABbie love!
Autumn is a junior who is studying marketing, with a minor in event management. She is from Hastings, Michigan and has an off-campus job in retail at Victorias Secret, here in Kalamazoo.This is her second year in CAB and she is currently office coordinator this year. One day she plans to become an event planner and work for a hotel outside of Michigan. She has a passion for volunteering and traveling to different places. Autumn hopes to get as many students involved with CAB as she can. She says she has learned so many leadership skills already and hopes to continue learning more.
Joe is a First Year Student from Chicago, IL who is studying Aviation Flight Science and Aviation Administration. During his free time Joe enjoys long distance running, volunteering, staying active, shopping, and traveling. He is a passionate leader and enjoys helping others. In his short time at WMU, Joe has gotten heavily involved. As a first year student, Joe has gotten involved in Drive Safe Kalamazoo, Campus Activities Board, and Western Student Association. Apart from being Treasurer of CAB, he also serves as a Senator for the College of Aviation and as a member of the Western Student Association Allocations Committee. He was recognized as the Senator of the Week and Senator of the Month for WSA in September of 2015.
Andrew is a senior majoring in Computer Information Systems, with minors in Business and Math. Andrew has been involved with CAB for three years now, this beeing his second year serving on the executive board as the IT Coordinator. Outside of CAB, Andrew is also a founding father of the Kappa Mu Chapter of the Fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta (Fiji) here at Western. After college he plans to move to New York or Chicago and see what the city life is like.
Ed is a junior pursuing a BFA in graphic design with a minor in mathematics. In addition to serving on CAB’s executive board, Ed is the Vice President of WMU’s AIGA student group (a graphic design organization) and plays bass and sings in a local band. He is a proud member of the Lee Honors College and a 2013 recipient of the Medallion Scholarship. Ed enjoys backpacking and other outdoor activities, spending time with friends and driving around his 1978 Ford Econoline van.
Maddie Boggs is a Junior studying Art Education here at the lovely, WMU. She hails from Waterford, MI, but has spent many of her childhood summers in Kalamazoo. Maddie has been a member of the Campus Activities since her first-year at Western and has loved every second of it since. She is excited to be on the Executive Board this year as the Media Relations coordinator and is looking forward to see what CAB can accomplish. Outside of the Campus Activities Board, Maddie has served as a Fall Welcome Ambassador and is also involved with the Campus Beet.In her freetime, one can usually find Maddie in the art building, watching High School Musical, or talking about her love of squirrels. She really likes squirrels.
Kelly Trinklein is a sophomore studying exercise science and holistic health care currently serving as Campus Activities Board’s Off-Campus Programmer. She is a member of Alpha Xi Delta, her favorite food is tacos, and every time she eats a dill pickle she absolutely has to eat chocolate after. She is the proud mother of two beautiful labradoodles, Talley and Sierra.
Ashley Pudas is a Junior from Canton, MI studying Organizational Communication. She is so excited to have the opportunity to be Comedy Coordinator for CAB this year. She loves CAB and the people that she has met through this wonderful organization. After graduation she hopes to get a job in the event management world. She would like to give a shoutout to her e-board for being so supportive and great! Also, a quick shoutout to Frankie and Charlie.
Cassie Hess is a senior double majoring in Film, Video, Media Studies and English with a Creative Writing focus, and minoring in General Psychology. She has been involved with CAB since her first-year here at Western, and has been on the executive board once before as the Event Promotions Coordinator. She is currently serving as the Miller Movie Coordinator.
Shane is a senior studying Marketing with a minor in Event Management. He is very grateful to have the opportunity to serve on the Campus Activities Board’s executive board for a second year now. As special events coordinator, he hopes to bring a wide variety of entertainers to campus, while also organizing multiple homegrown events. In his free time, Shane can be found in the student organization center, usually listening to either throwback Nelly Jams, or the best Christmas song of all time, Feliz Navidad.
Juliet is currently the Concerts Coordinator for Campus Activities Board. This is her second year being involved in CAB. She is a Junior, majoring in Advertising/Promotion and Business Management from Jackson, MI. She joined CAB to pursue her interest in entertainment and event planning. Not only did she find a great development organization but also an organization that loves its members and cares for everyone’s individual successes. Her current involvement includes First Seminar Co-Instructor, VP of Membership for Student Leadership Advisory Board, and Bronco Bash/Homecoming Coordinator.
Rachael Pulice is a Senior in the Comparative Religion Department here at Western. She has two minors in Communication Studies and Arabic, and she will be your Cultural Events Coordinator for the 2015-2016 academic year. Aside from Campus Activities Board, Rachael is a member of the Arabic Language Club’s Executive Board, she is a CELCIS English Language Conversation Circle Leader, and she is involved in Western’s Photography Intermedia Collective. Aside from being engaged in the international community on campus, Rachael is and always has been a musician at heart. With a genuine love for the fine arts, she has been involved in the WMU Choirs since she transferred to Western in 2013.
