Sal Mosca leads the global service engineering organization for Enterprise Commerce IT, a division within the Microsoft Information Technology organization. Mosca is responsible for leading a global team that is accountable for the processing of 2/3 of Microsoft total annual revenue providing a range of services including allowing channel partners to manage license agreements, software downloads and product keys; authorizing sales professionals the ability to sell through various applications; and enabling regional operating centers in Asia, Europe and the U.S. to process revenue.
His team is responsible for packaging and deployment of software code, the designing and operational support of each service while managing a business event readiness process that spans the company in support of fiscal close periods. With a strong knowledge of engineering, Mosca has been instrumental in delivering highly resilient, customer-focused services that focus on radically increasing speed and customer satisfaction.
Prior to his current role, Mosca spent seven years within the Microsoft IT engineering division with roles in Program Management, Group Program Management, and Test Director. Before joining Microsoft, Mosca spent 5 years at Ford Motor Company where he was a system and business analyst.
Mosca holds a Bachelor’s in Computer Information Systems from Western Michigan University. While attending WMU, Mosca worked as an inter with Electronic Data Systems and worked in the University’s computer labs.
