New Kalamazoo Red Cross CEO to speak at Haworth College of Business
Kalamazoo -- Catherine McNulty, chief executive officer of the Greater Kalamazoo Area Chapter of the American Red Cross, will be the featured speaker Friday, Mar. 27, as part of the Keystone Community Bank Breakfast Speaker Series at Western Michigan University.
McNulty’s talk, titled “Your American Red Cross Today," begins at 8 a.m. in the Dean's
Conference Room in Schneider Hall, home of the WMU Haworth College of Business.
The event, the fifth in the speaker series for the 2008-09 academic year, begins with breakfast at 7:30 a.m. and is free and open to the public. Reservations are required and can be made by calling the college dean's office at (269) 387-5050. Parking is available in the nearby Fetzer Center parking lot.
McNulty began serving the Greater Kalamazoo Area Chapter in January, having most recently served as CEO of the Harold W. McMillen Center for Health Education in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. The McMillen Center is a non-profit organization that teaches health education programs in the greater Ft. Wayne area.
She held progressively responsible positions in marketing and program management as well as director positions in leading Ft. Wayne hospital and health related organizations. Additionally, McNulty holds a certificate in fund raising management (CFRM).
McNulty received a nursing diploma in 1978 from St. Elizabeth Hospital School of Nursing in Lafayette, Indiana. In 1985 she received her bachelor’s degree in health from the College of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois. She also earned a master’s degree in health administration from the College of St. Francis in Joliet.
The Keystone Community Bank Breakfast Speaker Series is underwritten through the generosity of Keystone Community Bank. The series provides an opportunity for the local community to hear prominent business leaders, WMU faculty, alumni and friends of the Haworth College of Business discuss current business issues and corporate strategies as well as key information regarding the continuing progress of the business college.
