Vaxjo University (VU) hosts 10,000 students and is the major regional university of southern Sweden and the first European university to form an integrated English-language program in non-English-speaking Europe. The university's academic areas include business, economics, social sciences, health sciences, computer science, engineering, natural sciences, humanities, and teacher education. The campus is located just outside of downtown Vaxjo University welcomes international students from all over the world and has an active international student association, which arranges intercultural activities, excursions, international evenings, and many other activities. WMU students interested in this exchange program may be able to contact students from the host institution currently studying at WMU.
