
Deakin University is ranked among the top research universities in Australia with campuses in Melbourne, Geelong, and Warrnambool. As a new exchange partner with WMU, we are exploring collaborative projects in fine arts, theatre and music, graduate psychology, occupational therapy, and social work. WMU students are particularly encouraged to apply for the Geelong campus, which offers many courses in general education, nursing, psychology, occupational therapy, liberal arts, social work, general science, education, and business. Many Deakin courses also have a built-in internship component for academic credit in a diverse range of areas, such as Business, Journalism, Public Relations, Media and Sociology. Macquarie University is one of Australia's most internationally diverse universities, with 27,000 students and 7,000 international students from more than 80 countries. The business school is the largest on campus, and entry to both undergraduate and graduate business programs is highly competitive. Courses are available in a wide range of areas including finance, marketing, accounting, international business, management, actuarial studies, economics, human resource management, and business law. Macquarie also offers a wide range of experiences outside of the classroom. More than 150 student clubs and societies make it easy to meet new friends and become involved in the Macquarie community.
Swinburne is an internationally recognized university offering several degree programs in aviation and many other subject areas. The university is Australia\'s premier pilot training college and the aviation courses are taught at the Hawthorn campus, a suburb of Melbourne, located four miles from the city center. The aviation program focuses on air transportation for commercial piloting and air transportation management. The University of Wollongong (UOW) is a renowned Australian teaching and research institution with an excellent international reputation. It is a modern, innovative center of learning and draws students from throughout Australia and more than 70 nations. The student enrollment is 21,148, including 8,012 international students, spread over three campuses. WMU students study at the main campus in Wollongong, just south of Sydney, on the coast. The main campus offers a wide range of facilities for sports, dining, shopping, and entertainment.
