
At the start of the fall and spring semesters, a temporary One-Stop Center opens in the second floor North Ballroom in Western Michigan University's Bernhard Center, offering a variety of business services in one convenient location. HCOB plans to offer a program on "Doing Business in Chile" for our MBA students. The trip is planned durlng summer II, July 2- July 13, 2012. The faculty leaders for this program are Dr. Steve Newell and Dr. Zahir Quraeshi. CIMBA Italy Program - Summer I - Earn graduate credits in Italy. Choose from two sessions ranging from 10 day to 4 weeks. Both programs include site visits to companies in the Veneto region. Experienced faculty from the top U.S. business programs teach the courses. Program is AACSB accredited. Visit the MBA Program Office and Global Business Center located in 2320 Schneider Hall for more information.

How do I view the entire MBA course offerings versus the course offerings by subject/campus in GOWMU?
In GoWMU/Self Serve under registration, click "add/drop." Choose the term. At the bottom of the page click "class search." For "subject" hold the ctrl and alt key down and highlight Accounting, Business, Business Information Systems -CIS , Finance and Commercial Law-Fin, Finance and Commercial Law -Law, Management and Marketing. Next, under "campus" highlght "all" and then under "course level" highlight "graduate." You will be able to view all the graduate courses offered in the MBA program on all campuses.

If you are planning to graduate in April, the deadline is December 1. Application for graduation.
MBA and MSA Students: Once the Registrar's Office receives your application, the MBA Program Office will forward your permanent program of study. You do not need to submit the program of study with your application.
Deadline to apply for graduation:(must be turned into the Office of the Registrar)
Spring - December 1
Summer I & II - February 1
Fall - August 1
Space for your group meetings/study sessions or if you need a place to meet your friends before class is available in the new MBA Program Office. The office is open until 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

MBA candidates' career development goals vary greatly. The reasons for pursuing an MBA degree may include:
1. Unsure of career objective so decided to continue education.
2. Unable to find a job so decided on grad school.
3. Seeking career change and have non-business undergraduate degree.
4. Seeking career advancement within current occupation or industry.
