Aviation Express

The Aviation Express van travels from Western Michigan University's main campus loading zone to the Battle Creek aviation campus.

Downtown Express

Downtown Express offers a Friday afternoon service from main campus to the Kalamazoo downtown transit station providing a transportation connection to Amtrak and the bus station.

The Downtown Express will be an Indian Trails bus—the front of the bus will read, "Grand Rapids."

  • Fridays the bus will leave the campus loading zone at 1:50 p.m. and proceed to the downtown Kalamazoo transit station.
  • Sundays it will leave the downtown Kalamazoo transit station at 5:45 p.m. and arrive on campus at 6:00 p.m. dropping off at the interception at Western and Oliver, near the University Student Recreation Center.

ROTC shuttle to Lansing

WMU will be providing shuttle service for ROTC cadets from Kalamazoo to Lansing each Thursday beginning Sept. 5 through fall semester with the exception of Thanksgiving.

Starting Thursdays in the fall, one bus will leave at the following times:

Kalamazoo routes

You always have a ride with your WMU Bronco Card. It is your ticket to many Kalamazoo areas, grocery stores, the mall and downtown.

Several community routes operated by Metro Transit stop at the campus loading zone, giving you convenient access to citywide transportation. Destinations include the cities of Kalamazoo, Portage and Parchment as well as the townships of Comstock, Cooper, Kalamazoo, Texas and Oshtemo.
