This page contains the instructions on how to acquire the MAC addresses of your various gaming devices. You will need that MAC address to register here. Similar instructions exist on the registration page.

Xbox:

  1. Turn on your Xbox console with no game disc in the disc tray.
  2. Choose Settings, from the Xbox Dashboard.
  3. Select Network Settings, from the Settings screen.
  4. The MAC address is the 12-digit number at the bottom-right corner of the Network Settings screen.
  5. Take that MAC address and use it here.

XBOX 360:

  1. Go to the System area of the Xbox Dashboard and select Network Settings.
  2. Select Edit Settings.
  3. Under Basic Settings, check to make sure the IP Settings is on Automatic.
  4. Go to the Additional Settings tab.
  5. Select Advanced Settings
  6. At the bottom of this screen you'll see a heading called Wired MAC Address.
  7. Take that MAC address and use it here.

Playstation 2:

  1. Power up the PlayStation 2 and load the Network Adaptor Startup Disc.
  2. Once it has loaded, select ISP Setup and press X.
  3. The ISP SETUP will begin to load, and you will be presented with a license agreement. Select Agree and press X to :continue.
  4. For connection type, choose Local Area Network (LAN) and press X to continue.
  5. Select Automatic Configuration and press X to continue.
  6. At the connection test screen, select Advanced and press X to continue.
  7. At the Advanced Broadband Settings screen, make sure Automatic is selected. While you are at this screen, make note of the MAC Address at the bottom. You will need this number to register your game console.
  8. Take that MAC address and use it here.

Playstation 3:

  1. Power up the PlayStation 3 without any disc in the drive.
  2. Once the PlayStation 3 operating system has loaded, select Settings.
  3. Once you are in Settings select Network Settings.
  4. When the Network Settings list appears, select the first otion which is titled Settings and Connection Status List. The physical address will be listed under MAC Address.
  5. Take that MAC address and use it here.


Playstation Portable

  1. Go to System Setting
  2. Go to System Information
  3. The MAC address should be listed there.
  4. Take that MAC address and use it here.


Nintendo Wii:

  1. Select the Wii main menu.
  2. Select Wii Settings.
  3. Select Internet.
  4. Select Console Information; your Wii's MAC address will appear on the screen.
  5. Take that MAC address and use it here.


Nintendo DS:

Connecting to Tsunami

1. Insert a Nintendo Certified Wi-Fi Enabled Game to Access the Next Step

2. At the Setup screen, tap Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Settings.

3. Select one of the Connection slots.

4. Select Search For An Access Point.

5. The Nintendo DS will then display the name of your Wireless Access Point. At this Point the DS should display tsunami

6. If the Access Point has a "Blue Unlocked Icon," tap the Access Point name, and then 'OK.' The Nintendo DS will then try to establish a connection.

How to Find the MAC Address

1. Insert a Nintendo Certified Wi-Fi Game

2. Select Options

3. Select System Information

4. The MAC Address is Displayed on the Top Line
