Coming from the West (i.e. Chicago)

From I-90 EAST, merge onto I-94 E via EXIT 21 towards DETROIT. Follow I-94 for about 120 miles, until you reach EXIT 95 HELMER RD. Upon exiting, turn left at the stop sign and follow Helmer northbound. You will pass through 3 stoplights. The College of Aviation will be located on your left-hand side, just past the cemetery, on the right hand side. If you reach a "T" in the road, you have gone too far. Western Michigan University consists of three buildings.

Coming from the South (i.e. I-69)

Take I-69 NORTH toward Lansing, crossing into MICHIGAN. Merge onto I-94 W via EXIT 68 toward CHICAGO. Merge onto EXIT 95 HELMER RD. Make a RIGHT turn off the exit ramp. Follow Helmer Rd. North bound. You will pass through 3 stoplights. The College of Aviation will be located on your left-hand side, just past the cemetery, on the right hand side. If you reach a "T" in the road, you have gone too far. Western Michigan University consists of three buildings.

Coming from the NE (i.e. Lansing/ I 69)

Take I 69 S. towards Ft. Wayne Merge onto I-94 via EXIT 38 toward CHICAGO. Take EXIT 95- HELMER RD. Make a RIGHT turn off the exit ramp. Follow Helmer Rd. North bound. You will pass through 3 stoplights. The College of Aviation will be located on your left-hand side, just past the cemetery, on the right hand side. Take I-94 to EXIT 95- HELMER RD. Make a RIGHT turn off the exit ramp. Follow Helmer Rd. North bound. You will pass through 3 stoplights. Take US-131 SOUTH until reaching I-94. Merge onto I-94, EXIT 34A, to DETROIT. Take EXIT 95 HELMER RD. and make a LEFT turn at the stop sign. Follow Helmer Rd. North bound. You will pass through 3 stoplights. The College of Aviation will be located on your left-hand side, just past the cemetery, on the right hand side.
