WMU offers many services to help students with career counseling. Assistance is available to current College of Aviation students and alumni.
At WMU, we are fortunate to have an entire department, called the Career Network, to assist in the areas of career development. The Career Network offers drop in advising several places on campus, including Schneider and Ellsworth Halls, and offers advising by appointment, as well. For the drop in career advising schedule, please go to Career Advising Services. There, contact information can be found for scheduling appointments.
The Career Network creates a Career Search Manual each academic year. In this document, you will find many examples of resumes, cover letters, reference page samples, interviewing tips, and other helpful career topics. This useful tool can be found at the above website.
Captain Dave Powell, Dean; and Steve Jones, Interim Associate Dean, are available by appointment only. Please contact Tracey Henry with your availability to set up an appointment.
Bronco Jobs offers career exploration resources, workshops on resume writing, practice interviews, new jobs and internships, and more. This website helps Western students and alumni find great jobs, internships, and other career opportunities, and contains free information on resumes, cover letters, and interviewing tips. When the College of Aviation receives internship openings, we'll post them on our internship page.
